In April things were beginning to green up and the flowers signaled the start of warm weather. Even the kale plant came back to life and if you look closely you will see one of the honeybees visiting. We celebrated Ann's birthday and went to the butterfly house near St. Louis.

Ann and the girls went with some friends from Southside to Cliff Cave Park. Abby helped pollinate the paw paw flowers and here are a few of the baby paw paws. The direct fruit of her labors.

Sam wasn't too happy to be in the pictures while we were looking at the paw paws. Troy came home to some special homemade welcome signs.

Troy and Elizabeth spent some time enjoying one of their favorite spring pastimes - mushroom hunting. They found a few in their "secret spot".

A choir came to sing a Southside the last Sabbath afternoon in April.
