Our paw paw trees dropped many dead flowers after the snow, ice and cold weather. Then we noticed a few baby paw paws started coming on the branches in places where they usually do not but those few remaining flower buds produced a small crop.

Lynell & Jerry down for a visit. We didn't take many pictures but they brought some gifts since we had not been to Michigan for some time.

Troy received a call for a 3rd swarm. It was also very close to the ground and relatively easy to collect. The bees went into their new home well and you can see them going in.

Our tomatoes, green beans, and pepper have not been doing very well this cold wet spring. However our lettuce is loving the weather and we have probably the best crop we have every grown. The asparagus is enjoying the weather too and it is another good year for it.

Abby made it home from college for a short time before heading off to camp as the Girl's director. Here are some pictures of Abby's birthday celebration before going to camp

Troy found a yellow jacket nest in the blueberry patch when he was moving some boards. He received a pretty stern buzzing but didn't get stung.

Our strawberries were also enjoying the wet spring. As it started warming up we had some yummy berries. However, something started eating our strawberries just before they were ripe and they were leaving part of the top. Turns out it was this turtle eating strawberries and it would eat them right in front of us.
