June 2022

Activities did not slow down for us in June. Troy continued working out of Litchfield, IL filling in for a field office supervisor that retired. This cut his commute in half and also put him in travel status so his hotel was covered. Near the end of June the office secretary also retired, which added still more duties to Troy's plate.

Streams of Light Ministry came to West County bringing volunteers from across the country to help distribute the approximately 100,000 Great Controversy books that had been bagged up.

We celebrated Abby's birthday. Arthur came over and joined up for the activities.

There was a General Conference meeting in St. Louis since Indianapolis could not host the makeup session which was originally scheduled for 2020 but was postponed because of the COVID pandemic. This gave us the opportunity to meet one of the workers from Ghana where our church has been sponsoring Bibles for several years.

Our friends dedicated their baby at church.

Our blueberries began ripening and of course that brings with it the wildlife coming to take some of the fruit.

This is one of the raccoons that was damaging our bushes.

We enjoyed the blooming flowers and watched the fruit grow in our orchard.

We had some birds trying to build a nest on our front porch light fixtures and Troy kept removing the nesting materials. However, when he was gone most of the week they got ahead of him so here are some pictures of the birds that were reared on the front porch. Sparkle was more interested in the birds than Tar.

Here are some sunsets we saw this month. We can now see some of the summer sunsets since the trees in our neighbor's field are gone.
