We went for a walk at Robertsville State Park and took a new trail. We saw quite a few paw paws in the trees but not every paw paw grove had fruit. Here are some pictures of our walk.

We hosted a church social at our house. We cooked some veggie hotdogs on a fire and had a verspers service.

The yellow jackets were abundant this summer. We had two nests in our yard and another in an empty honey super on the back porch. Troy was able to take care of them all.

We took Abigail to Andrews University in Berrien Springs, MI, where she started her freshman year of college. It was tough leaving her there but we all knew it was an important step for her. The campus looked very nice and they had a yummy dinner for us with local produce. Abigail got a job on campus at the "Gazebo" before we left campus because of her previous food service experience. She was able to select hours that worked well with her class schedule and still have adequate time to study.

While we were in Michigan we visited Ann's family. We went to Good Time Pizza and shared some pizza with Lynell, Jerry, Ted and Sara. We went to supper with Frank and Sally at Red Robin. Troy and Ann stayed at a hotel and let Elizabeth have some time with Grandma Scofield. We visited at Grandma Soya's house and caught up with Jerry while we were there. During this visit we also got new cell phones which we are still learning.
