After her anatomy and physiology lab final Abigail decorated a cookie at the bookstore stressbuster event, using only a knife.

Elizabeth made another pie. It lasted about 24 hours...

We had a nice visit with our friends the Tsoka's. Lonesome is up to 5 beehives and has added some guineas to his flock of chickens.

Elizabeth was working diligently to finish a "watermellon" blanket for Abigail. Sam was enjoying playing with the yarn and hiding in her sewing bag.

Abigail and Elizabeth made and decorated some Christmas cookies.

We had two kitties looking outside at something but took a moment to look at us for a picture.

We participated in an Advent service at church.

We went over to the Brinkley's for a Christmas Eve social. We had a really good time and made some new friends with another Navy family.

We enjoyed opening presents at home this year

Troy's parents came over and we had a nice meal and gift exchange with them.

We built a gingerbread lighthouse this year. It worked out pretty well for a while but then we experienced a failure of the small structure on the front of the building. It didn't look too bad without it. The cats were circling. Apparently, they remember the smell because they wanted to lick the frosting.

The last Sabbath of December was "Youth Sabbath". Here are a few pictures of our youth in action.
