December 2009
In early December we went to Michigan for Ann's uncle Gary's funeral. Our trip up to Michigan was on a day when there was predicted to be a significant snow storm in Illinois and especially around Chicago. When we were looking at the radar trying to figure out which way to go and there was snow on every interstate we looked at. So we ended up taking I55 like we normally do. It was amaazing because it snowed behind us, to the left and to the right and even in front of us but not on us the whole way to Michigan. It was like God's hand was over us proteting us from the storm. We are very thankful for His protection.
After the funeral it snowed about 13 inches and we played in the snow. We also visited with Ann's family and took some pictures of our activities here and there. Maybe you are in the pictures - have a look.
