In February we went to Springfield, MO so Troy could attend the Small Fruit and Vegetable Growers Conference. He has gone to this conference for a number of years and continues to learn more about growing fruits and vegetables (Like grafting vegetables). Ann really liked the hotel that we stayed in. We visited some of our friends that used to live by us and go to church with us in St. Louis. He also learned about a website Missouri Exchange where you can find Missouri produced products. While he was at the conference one day Ann took the girls to the Butterfly Palace in Branson.

Mail box vandalism still occurring

2008 was a good year for pecans in Troy's home town. He spent many February evenings going through bags of different pecans from various trees there. He took several 5 gallon buckets of pecans to work to share with his coworkers. We will see if any of them sprout in the summer.

Troy's birthday was in February. Here is a picture of his cake. It was very good!!!
