Elizabeth turned 10 this year. Grandpa and Grandma Hart and Grandma Scofield came to our house for the celebration. She received a number of cards and gifts some of which are pictured here and below.

We still make homemade wrapping paper for some of the gifts. Elizabeth received a new Bible that she had been anxiously awaiting after the cover broke on the Bible she won at campmeeting a few years ago.

Grandpa Hart helped put the candles on the cake and lit the candles. Elizabeth blew out the candles and then we all enjoyed some cake.

Elizabeth opened up her new blanket so we could all see the eagle. Then when she attempted to fold it up Sam decided it would be a nice warm place to lay down. Sam was very persistent and did not want to move. Sam and Tar both often like to get involved with folding up laundry...
