Farm Tour April 2009
A group of students and their instructors from the University of Missouri Extension office came to tour our farm in April. This gave Troy a chance to do one of the things he really like to do - talk about honeybees and blueberries to people who are interested in that sort of thing.
One of the University Extension leaders helped Troy with his first farm research grant about 10 years ago. Troy has been awarded four farm grants over the years. Both the honeybee and blueberry operations exist on our farm because of the research and marketing grants.
At least the weeds were not too bad yet in the blueberry rows. You can see the flowers on the blueberry bushes.
