HDTV

HDTV probably means different things to most of you. Living in the country as we do consistent clear television signals were not something that we were used to. Snow and daily adjustments to the rabbit ears were just part of our daily lives. We had high hopes for this new HDTV. We were some of the ones who registered for the converter box coupons back in the summer of 2008 and had purchased the boxes shortly thereafter. We had a birds nest of wires connecting the rabbit ear antena to the converter box to the Hope Channel box to the DVR to the VCR to our ancient TV. As the local stations began testing their HD broadcasting we noticed that when we turned on the converter box there were more channels to choose from.

When Troy finally got his gift cards from redeeming his hotel points and airline miles he got a new HDTV. It just barley fit into the car and he needed help getting it into the house. We finally got it into the house and into its location. The devices were added one at a time so that if it didn't work we at least knew where to start fixing. We are happy with our new TV but we sure do not like it when a little wind (it sounds very weird and seems like it should not matter) interfers with our signal.
