Tilles Park December 2013

We headed off to Tilles Park to look at the Christmas lights. However, the exit was closed from Westbound 40 so we had to go to 170 and turn around. There was plenty of traffic there by the mall and we could see that traffic was backed up onto 40 going the other way. Troy decided to get in line and the wait began. We had been in line for about 35 minutes when Ann took this picture. About 45 minutes later we got close enough to see the lights. We decided we were glad we didn't live close to the park.

We were passed by several horse-drawn carriages in the park. We all decided that it was too cold for us to enjoy the lights that way. Abigail and Elizabeth took turns taking pictures out of their respective sides of the car.

The lights were very nice but it was difficult to get pictures that were not blurry.
