Bee Removal from House Number 1 May 2009
The bees were in a wall where we could access through the closet. We just did not know where to cut. It was a miracle because the homeowner (in the beesuit cutting the wall) cut in just the right place. This was an answered prayer for both him and Troy.
Once the wall was opened up the home owner saw why Troy told him to close the door.
The bees were attracted to the light in the closet where Troy was able to easily vacuum them up into his specially designed bee vacuum. It takes a long time to vacuum up 15,000-20,000 bees.
Here is the hole in the closet. You can see the old exterior wall of this log cabin style home. The bees found a small hole (pencil sized diameter) and this spacious cavity to construct their home.
Inside the wall you can see some of the bees.
Here are the bees in another section of the wall.
And here are the bees in the third section of the wall. Thankfully, the bees were only 3 boards deep in the wall.
Here we are making some progress vacuuming the bees out of the wall. The metal you can see above the 2X4 is the flashing on the roof.
