In April we celebrated Ann's birthday. A small farm tour came out to look at our farm. Things looked pretty good then too. We had some baby paw paws on the trees and our fig tree put on figs. This is the first year that our fig tree did not get frozen off to the ground and we were very suprised to see all the figs and so early.

Troy was on travel and he went to Tucson, AZ for work. During that trip he got visit with his friend Amanda, her husband Mark and their family. They were preparing to put solar panels on their roof which helped renew alternative energy thoughts with Troy & Ann. The weather took a turn for the worse after we took these pictures while Troy was on travel in New Jersy and Ann and the girls were in Michigan. The windy weather knocked off all the figs and a late frost damaged the paw paw trees.

It was very warm and we harvested our first strawberrires too. Funny how the cold air drains and things like the strawberries that are on the ground do not get damaged but the little paw paws hanging in the air do.
