Abby finished her sophomore year at Andrews and was rehired as an RA.

Ann celebrated her birthday and here are some pictues of the presents. Tar is right there to supervise.

Her cake was pretty good too.

Our first asparagus of the season came up. Our crab apple and redbud trees were very pretty.

We are getting used to watching Sabbath school and church on the satellite. On April 11th we sang hymns around the piano for about an hour and enjoyed a special time of worship. Troy got called out a few hours later for an explosion that injured a miner. Troy would spend a lot of time at this mine the rest of the year.

We were disappointed that we did not find any red mushrooms or morels in our yard this year and so was our neighbor. With Troy out of town during prime mushroom hunting season we didn't get any this year. He did look one eveing after he got home and saw some flower on his way to find this old dried out one in a good spot but it was too late.

Troy replaced the swing this spring.

Cloud was not doing well and we took her to the vet. Once we got there and while we waited for someone to come take her in it started to pour. She was dehyrdated and they injected some saline which made a big lump on her side.
