We started off the New Year with a walk at Shaw Nature Reserve.

Sadly, Ann's Dad passed away after a long stay in the hospital. He was 80 years old. We traveled to snowy Michigan for his memorial service.

Our church hosted Voice of Prophecy's Final Empire meeting. We enjoyed learning some interesting history of the Roman Empire that was left out of many history classes.

Elizabeth's crocheting bag became one of Sammy's favorite places to curl up for a nap.

Abigail headed back to Andrews University in Michigan for her spring semester of her sophomore year. She continued her duties as an RA and reviewing papers in the writing center.

There was a large roof fall in one of the mine's Troy was assigned. It continued to fall for several weeks and the operator brought in a drone to fly underground to look at the situation.
