Family Camp 2012

We went to family camp this summer at Camp Heritage down on the Lake of the Ozarks. It was hot and dusty but it was a blessing. Two other families from our church were also there. We made some ceramics, rode horses, swam, canoed, went to the archery range, and of course we rode on the banana down at the lake front. We made some new friends and hope to go again next year.

We stayed in the Owl Room at the lodge. It reminded Troy a lot of his grandma Carley because she collects owls.

Ann and the girls wanted to get one of the "old-time" pictures so this is what we might have looked like had we lived back then.

One evening there was this very beautiful sunset at camp. It really looked like the rain we had been hoping for to break the heat wave. All we got was a sprinkle which settled the dust for a little while.
