Family Camp Miscellaneous Camp Pictures 2012

We spent a lot of time down at the lakefront because it was so hot. Not unlike the camp where Troy grew up there is also a large hill (a.k.a. heart attack hill) that you have to climb to get back to the dining hall and your room.

We swam in this area too and you can see the small boathouse in the background where the canoes were. Troy and the girls practiced canoeing here for the anticipated canoe trip with Michael and his family.

We all got to choose if we wanted to cook out one meal or stay in and have pizza cooked to order. We took the easy way out and at in the air conditioned dining hall and enjoyed our pizza. Some of our friends from Southside braved the heat and cooked a meal out over the fire. We went over to see how they were doing after we finished.
