Washington State 2012

After work on Friday, Troy headed over to visit Beth and her family. He stayed at a hotel on the Columbia Rive in a town down the road. The first picture is from his room as the sun was about to come over the hill. After church on Sabbath, Troy went with Beth and her family to lunch and the third picture is the view from that home. It spit a few snow flakes and some sleet just after this picture but then cleared off.

Here is a picture of Davina and Beth sitting on the couch. After lunch they went down to Lake Chelan. Javier went with Troy out on the dock and he really wanted to get in the water but Troy would not let him. You can see how clear the water is (about 4 - 6 feet deep).

The next day they went for a walk by Chief Joseph Dam. After the walk they all went out to Beth's favorite Mexican restaurant. Davina really liked the chips. On the way back to Spokane Troy drove back a different way and there were some interesting tree sculptures.

The sculptures were very interesting. You can see Chief Joseph Dam in the background of the first picture in this row.

Troy stopped by Dry Falls and took some pictures. It is amazing to see how much power water has when it is allowed to flow quickly.
