We celebrated Abby's birthday a little early this year because Troy was flying to Alaska very early that morning and no one wanted to get up at 3:00 AM to open presents. We enjoyed some icecream cake with butterscotch toping after Abby blew out the candles

Abby got a DVD she was hoping for and a number of Nancy Drew books. Abby and Elizabeth really enjoy reading these mystery books.
Of course, no was more interested in opening presents than was Cloud the cat. She was by Abby's side for most of the process. We all got a kick out of the sign on the side of the box one of Abby's present came in.
