In September Troy traveled to Pennsylvania just outside of Philadelphia and then he had another trip to Memphis, TN. These were his last two trips for a contract that he has been working on for the past 8 years. It is sad that he will probably never work with some of these people again but he has made some good friends and memories over the years.

We attended a St. Louis area campmeeting and the president of the North American Division spoke. He had a very interesting message about forgiveness.

One Sabbath afternoon we went to Little Indian Creek and walked in/along the creek. Troy and the girls caught some crawdads. We saw a number of frogs and toads. The horse flies were pretty bad but we took out a number of them and fed them to the fish. It was interesting to watch the little fish go after the horse flies.

We found this interesting rock that is full of holes. Abigail and Elizabeth enjoyed skipping rocks. The best skipping rock was retrieved and skipped over and over.

Ann and the girls painted the playhouse one afternoon.

One Sunday afternoon we drove down past Rolla and swam at a converted quarry. We had a good time but we do think that they need to move a lot more of the big rocks away from the swimming areas because we all banged our legs into rocks in a number of places.

We had a dinner at church after the meetings. Abigail and Elizabeth enjoyed spending time with their friends.
