Troy traveled to Anchorage early on Abigail's birthday. He worked all week and on two days they saw a moose with her calf.

Because of the flight times and Sabbath he stayed in Alaska over the Sabbath. He attended what happened to be the largest SDA church in Alaska. The mountains are visible from the parking lot

One of the church members took him to the Anchorage zoo after church where he was able to see a number of animals native to Alaska. The baby wolf pups, adult wolfs and brown bears.

A family of otters played in their cage.

After zoo he went with another group of church members for a walk and the mosquitoes were really bad - even the Alaskan's were ready to get out of the woods.
