Camping and Canoeing 2014

We camped on the Sac River. The river was down and we walked across the old bridge and looked at the old mill ruins. The canoe trip was fun although we had to pull the canoes more than we would have liked.

Elizabeth and Kira enjoyed running around the campsite, including the by the picnic table and around the tents.

We enjoyed cooking on the campfire and eating together. Kaiser was working on some tasks for his cooking merit badge during our trip.

We enjoyed the time together. We learned that leaving the van hatch door open the battery on the van runs down. Thankfully, we were able to borrow some jumper cables and get back on the road.

We had some glow in the dark balloons. There were four for a short while but then there were three. The three lasted for some time. We had one at home after the trip that glowed for more than a week.

We got to spend some time relaxing around the campsite and catching up.
