In December we made some Christmas cookies.

They also made some peanut mallow clusters. None were left when Troy got home.

The lemon tree continues to flower and set little lemons.

Abby became a hostess at Pasta House in Union.

Abby put together the Advent service at church this year.

We decorated some gingerbread houses.

Sparkle and Tar both like the gingerbread houses. They licked off some of the decorations and chewed off some of the snacks.

On the day before Christmas we watched a covey of quail in our front yard. We have seen them in the front yard three more days in a row.

A little while later we saw of couple of turkeys scratching around in the woods. Their pictures did not turn out with enough clarity to put on the website.

We had a white Christmas for the first time in 7 years.

We had a gift exhange with our family.

Elizabeth didn't want the kitties to be left out so she wrapped up some cat treats for them. They were a little confused but with a little help ate up the treats.

Troy's parents came over and spent some time with us. We exchanged gifts and shared a nice lunch.

Elizabeth received a tote of crochet and cross stitch items which belonged to her Great Grandma Carley.

Troy walked around a neighborhood near the church in Northglenn to look at Christmas lights. He found someone putting up lights at night on a metal extension ladder very close to the powerline...

While Troy was in Denver he went to the Christmas program at the Denver South church.

Troy has a little garden started indoors. He has 7 squash plants up so far.
