In February Troy finished up teaching part of a class at the National Mine Health and Safety Academy in West Virginia. He rode back to Pittsburgh with some of his coworkers and headed back to Denver.

His fig had added a number leaves while he was away.

He was surprised to see someone (Ketzia Theodor) from Southside at Chapel Haven playing the piano.

Abby took the ACT test and all of her hard work paid off. She got a 34! We are very pleased with her score and it earned her a nice scholarship.

His plants continued to grow and add leaves.

When Troy got back to Missouri for his birthday the apricot tree was blooming. We have never experienced weather that was so warm in February to cause this. The honeybees were frantically working the tree. It got cold again not long after these pictures were taken and there will be no apricots from our tree this year.

Troy headed out to Wyoming for work. It was cold and snowy as one might expect. The sky had some interesting colors just after sunset.
