Abby worked the last required holiday time to get her bonus!

Our friend Jimmy gave us an Asian squash that looks like a giant green bean. Troy's mom is holding it in the picture.

In September Troy headed back to Colorado. His fig tree was about to produce a ripe fig!

He also attended the Health to the Max meeting hosted by Mark and Ernestine Finely. Her demonstrations were very interesting and some of them were comical as well.

There were some articles and quotes that were interesting. Truly, our health care providers are starting to realize that we don't have a disease because we are lacking a specific dosage of a prescription medication.

He attended the Gem and Mineral show and saw some interesting items. It is a little hard to tell in the first picture but someone was attempting to sell a chrysotile specimen for $75. For those of you who don't know that is a form of asbestos. The sandstone sculptures were interesting to see.

There were some interesting and expensive pieces of meteors.

Troy attended a lecture and they passed around a couple of pieces of telluride from a gold mine. Both pieces weighed over 5 pounds each and about 80% of the weight was from the gold.

Elizabeth was in charge of the game cameras and she caught more images of the foxes and raccoons coming to raid the scrap pile in the back yard.
