Troy went back to Denver and had some snow and very cold weather. The pile from this snow lasted into the end of February.
Troy has started some plants in Denver. He was attempting to see if some of the pinto beans that didn't look OK to cook would actually sprout.
He brought a couple of fig cuttings when he drove back after Thanksgiving. One of them sprouted several leaves.
We had an ice storm that canceled church on the Sabbath Troy was going to preach. There were many beautiful sights to see.
We have high hopes for our tomato plant that is growing under the artificial lights in our indoor hydroponic garden. You can see the first tomato has set.
Troy headed back to Denver later in January and his fig had added a number leaves.
We finally got new roofs installed on our house and sheds. It took a long time to get the trees cut down and then get estimates for a new roof. Glad the new roofs are on.
Troy headed to Pittsburgh for a few days of work before heading down to the National Mine Health and Safety Academy in West Virginia to teach part of a class to mine inspectors.
