Abby continued working at the pool. She continued working towards her end-of-year bonus by working around the holiday.

We made a blueberry pie with some of our yummy blueberries.

Troy wasn't feeling to well on the Fourth of July so he didn't go the fireworks display with Ann and the girls. They got a few pictures but there was apparently some malfunction with the display and then the traffic getting home was bad.

The neighbors started their fireworks display just after Troy turned out the lights and headed to bed. Needless to say, he didn't get to sleep early and he had to leave at 6:00 AM to continue the accident investigation.

Michael and his family came to visit and stayed with us.

Troy took Elizabeth to camp and then he stopped at his parents house for a short visit with a high school class mate, his brother and Grandpa Carley. Grandpa Carley had received a good report from the doctor but he only got a two week reprieve on his blood work.

While Troy was taking a break from his excavation project in the back yard a blue colored bird about about the size of a wren came over and acted hot and thirsty. Then it flew to a bush very close to Troy and made some similar motions and noises. Then it flew over and landed on Troy's forearm just a few inches from his face as he was resting in the shade. Troy put out some water and made a makeshift bird bath from the old slide.

We had a picnic at a state park after church one Sabbath afternoon with our friends the Tsoka's and then went for a walk.

We found a lot of little caterpillars eating the milkweed out in the blueberry patch.

There was were a lot of mint plants in the yard in Colorado along with some beans.
