Troy and Ann went to tour a cave. They missed the first tour and walked above ground to a lookout tower that had been built. On the way to the tower they passed by the old spring house. It was dry as a bone. Ann was taken by surprise as Troy took this picture of her.
They stopped to look at some rock formations called "The Pancakes".
The lookout tower seemed like something that might have been built as scout camp.
Ann decided half way up was as far as she wanted to go. She wanted to have plenty of strength for all the stairs they had been warned about in the cave. Troy went to the top and took some pictures. Notice he got part of his finger in several pictures.
This cave was indeed vertical. Lots of steps up and down. Here are some of the cave pictures.
There were a number of activities to keep children entertained around the gift shop at this cave. As we were leaving the cave one couple in the next group was relating how the man had become trapped in one of the crawl through activities. The cave had a sluice to search for gold and gemstones. However, Troy and Ann passed on this activity - this time.
